Locke, Contract Specialist, (212) 264-6707 The US Army Corps of Engineers, NY District, intends to award a contract for the maintenance dredging of the Raritan River Federal navigation project from the New York, New Jersey Channels to the old Railroad Bridge. The work consists of the removal and satisfactory placement of approximately 310,000 cubic yards of channel sediment except ledge rock lying above the pane of 25 feet below mean low water without allowable paid overdepth. THIS PROCUREMENT IS NOT A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The SIC Code for this procurement is 1629 with a size standard of $13.5 million. Construction costs are estimated at $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 over the 45 day performance period.
