Separator, which will service to remove bilge water from ships, which
contains saltwater, fresh water, various cleaning detergents. Max:
service temperature is to be 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Must be fabricated
without any carbon steel components. Tank, baffles, weirs, structural
components, lids, and hatches must be made out of fiberglass reinforced
plastic (FRP), minimum 14" thickness and a minimum 10 mil thick gel
coating with ultraviolet (UV)inhibitors. Any required metal components
will be 316 stainless steel. Oil/water Separator manufacturer shall
warrant its equipment to be free from material and workmanship defects
for one year from the date of delivery. Oil/water Separator will be
delivered, completely assembled, to Naval Station Ingleside, Texas.
FOB: Destination. A detail Solicitation will be issued 18 May 00.
Request for solicitation copies must be made in writing. The proposed
