wines@mail1.monmouth.army.mil. The Single Channel Anti-jam Manportable
(SCAMP) Terminal Program, Contract DAAB07-96-C-A760, will be modified
to procure ten (10) each modem circuit card assemblies (CCAs) of a
design that is a form, fit and functional replacement for the current
SCAMP modem, no longer procurable. Additionally, the Government
requires the re-testing of the SCAMP terminal and updating all
Government owned technical and logistics data that would be impacted by
the placement modem. This new effort will be utilized when the supply
of existing modems is exhausted, and thus is required for sustainment
purposes beyond the initial warranty period for the number of terminals
procured under contract. The Government does not currently possess the
necessary technical drawings to enable competition for these items.
Rockwell Collins is the only source who possesses the capability and
knowledge required to satisfy the Government's requirements. This is a
sole source acquistion with Rockwell Collins, Cedar Rapids, IA
authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This notice is not to be
