Reference: Satellite Communications Ground Multi-Band Terminal, SOL F19628-00-R-0043;This notice extends the due date for the responses to the Sources Sought Synopsis for the Satellite Communications Ground Multi-Band Terminal that was posted in the Commerce Business Daily on 4 May 2000 (CBDnet posting was 2 May 2000). The due date for responses is now extended to 26 May 2000, which was previously required on 17 May 2000. The Government is extending the response date due to acquisition documentation changes that are affected by a recent modification in the Operational Requirements Document (ORD). Essentially, the recent ORD changes will eliminate the requirement for the Block I GMT and the Block II GMT will become the baseline terminal. The Government intends to post the draft ORD on the Hanscom Electronic Resources Bulletin Board (HERBB) by 15 May 2000 in order for the potential Offerors to complete the ORD Matrix that was previously posted. The Government also intends to post an updated draft Technical Requirements Document (TRD) to reflect the ORD changes by 15 May 2000.
