The National Institute on Aging, Intramural Research Program, Gerontology Research Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with R. Michael Bagby, Ph.D., C.Psych., Clarke Institute of Psychiatry, University of Toronto, Section on Personality and Psychopathology, 11th Floor, 250 College Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M5T 1R8. Dr. Bagby will provide data on various treatments for major depressive disorders and their potential interactions with personality traits. Datasets will be obtained on 100 men and women who have undergone a comprehensive and thorough psychiatric and psychosocial evaluation as well as pharmacologic treatment for their major depressive disorder. The collection of this data will be compiled into a study entitled "Remission, Recovery and Relapse Among Outpatients Undergoing Treatment for Major Depressive Disorder: A Five-Month Follow-up". An award will be made 30 days from the date of this notice. All responsible sources may submit their capabilities which shall be considered by the agency.
