ray.prazak@mountainhome.af.mil. Mountain Home Air Force Base requires
Title I, Title II, Base Comprehensive Plans and Other
Architect-Engineer services for an open-end A-E design contract for a
period of one year with a possibility of four one-year options. The
successful A-E firm(s) shall be primarily architectural with a full
range of engineering disciplines (including as a minimum, electrical,
mechanical, civil, and structural). The successful A-E(s) shall be
guaranteed a minimum of $5,000.00 per contract year in fees. The
maximum contract amount shall not exceed $750,000.00 per contract year.
No individual order may exceed $299,000.00 in fees. The estimated
contract date is September 2000 and estimated completion date is August
2003. Firms desiring consideration shall submit appropriate data
described in the Standard Form 254 and Standard Form 255,
Architect-Engineer and related services questionnaires and in Standard
Form 1421, Performance Evaluation (Architect-Engineer) or DD Form
2626, Performance Evaluation (Construction). All information relating
to the firms' qualifications must be contained in the Standard Forms.
Inclusion by reference to other materials is not acceptable. The SF 255
is limited to the eleven pages of the form itself plus five additional
pages of information concerning the firms' qualifications related to
this specific contract. Firms responding to this announcement no later
than 4:30pm (MST), 30 days of publication will be considered for
selection by a weighted selection system. The Air Force may select more
than one A-E from firms responding to this announcement. Rating factors
listed in order of importance are: A) Specialized experience in design,
study, and construction surveillance on Air Force facilities and
infrastructure, B) Specialized experience in Air Force studies, and
comprehensive planning, C) Broad experience in land surveying, drafting
and plan generation using AUTOCAD/Geographical Positioning Systems
(GPS), D) Proximity of firm in general geographic area, E) Specialized
experience and technicalcompetence in designs methods reducing waste
and using recovered (recycled) materials, F) Broad experience in
alternative design and construction methods, G) Professional
qualifications of staff to be assigned to this project, H) Past
performance of firm on previous DOD and other contracts, I) Volume of
work previously awarded to the firm by DoD, J) Professional capacity of
the firm to accomplish work in required schedule. Note: Any prospective
contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration
(CCR) www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil in order to be eligible for award.

take up to 3 weeks to process. This office recommends registering
immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. We are highly
