This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quotation for Copier Rental for the Leadership Development Center, Ft Leavenworth, Kansas for period July 19, 2000 to August 4, 2000. Requirement is for rental of 11 each Sharp SD2060 (60CPM) (or equal) with Auto Duplexer and Staple/Sorting; 6 each Sharp (40CPM) (or equal) with Auto Duplexer and Sorting.; and 4 each Sharp Facsimile F04500 (or equal). Rental must include 24 hour service, 4 hour response, parts and supplies, toner, developer, installation and removal costs included (paper not included). Offeror must include in their quote the Make and Model of the Copier, the location of the dealer, the number of copies per minute, the maximum number of copies included in the rental price, and the additional cost for each copy over the maximum copies allowed in the rental price. Proposal shall include an option price for purchasing all of the rented copiers. The option MAY be executed within 120 calendar days from date of contract award.
