This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is SP4700-00-Q-0019. The solicitation is used as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are not set-aside. The standard industrial code is 7011 and the small business size standard is $5.0 million. The small business competitiveness demonstration program does not apply. (v) Leasing of hotel facility for conference. Location: Washington DC metropolitan area. Date: July 18-20, 2000. 80 people will be attending. Guestrooms/Lodging needed for 25 people. Government per diem rate required. One large conference room with a seating capacity of 80 people on July 18-19 between 0800-1800 and July 20 between 0800-1200 only. Registration area. Three (3) breakout rooms capable of holding 10-15 people each for side bar sessions set up with a large square/round table. Substantial audio-visual support for one large conference room on July 18-20 (one (1) Easel board with paper, one (1) LCD panel, two (2) Wireless microphone, one (1) Video data projector). Food & Beverage Requirement: July 18-20, morning snacks for 80 people during break time (includes water & coffee (continuous), tea, juice, muffins, Danish, croissants); July 18-19, afternoon snack for 80 people (includes water & coffee (continuous), assorted soft drinks, coffee, brownies, fruits).
