Olsen, Contracting Officer, (720) 962-7156 The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and other resources necessary to complete the following: Furnish a complete DC power system consisting of the following major components: supply and install all battery systems, charger systems, DC/DC converters, and all associated hardware, wiring, and related equipment at 13 sites. Remove and dispose of existing battery cells, including intercell connectors, lugs, and associated wiring. The project sites are located in the state of Colorado. The project delivery and installation of systems is estimated to occur between August 15, 2000, and October 15, 2000. This acquisition will be conducted under the commercial item procedures of FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3692 and the Size Standard is 1,000 employees. There will only be one award made from this solicitation. This solicitation will be issued on or about May 22, 2000.The closing date is on or about June 12, 2000.
