This solicitation is being issued as a commercial, brand name or equal utilizing the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) procedures in part 12 (commercial) and 15 (best value). Model number for Long Range SODAR for Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) is Scintec Model XFFAS52 or equivalent and Standard Range SODAR for Ft Huachuca is Scintec Model FAS64 or equivalent. Each model shall include an acoustic enclosure, power supply, heater and heater power supply. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3829 with a size standard of 500.
