66 -- TOC ANALYZER SOL CWN039 DUE 052600 POC SANDRA LICIS,513-487-2006 OR fax 513-487-2109 Under the authority granted in FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to seek a quotation on a Sole Source Basis for a Phoenix-8000 UV Persulfate TOC Analyzer 115 volt having the following requirements: meet the EPA's 19th Edition Standard Methods 5310C or 5310D for water analysius, multiple point calibration, realtime TOtal Organic Carbon Curve, thermally stable for ultra stable detector signal, high capacity XYZ autosampler (minimum 65 samples) that uses 40 ml EPA certified vials, vial septum piercing, autosampler has the ability to run different sample holders such as but not limited to the following..20 ml vial or 18mm x 150 mm tube, or 40 ml and or 50 ml vials, or 25 mm x 150 mm tuble or 125 ml vessels or 4 oz bottles, and automated variable injection volume, automated cleaning procedure to clean sample path, autosample run can accomodate different TOC methods requiring different reagent volumes or samples, automatic data backups to CD and hard drive, use and storage of multiple calibration curves, programmed dilutions above 200 ppm, automatic blank subtraction, ability to modify or use predefined instruments method and utilities. Software Specs: Operate either Windows 98 or NT, setup menu for selection of user, Diagnostic screen, readying instruments to run sample, and monitor gas flow rates. Computer capable of upgrading and printer and appropriate calges, accesories as required to operate and set-up the unit. Training as needed.
