The amendment to the solicitation for vibration isolation systems is to change performance specifications in CLIN 0001 and CLIN 0003. The corrected versions of CLIN 0001, and CLIN 0003 are stated below in full text. AS A RESULT OF THESE CHANGES, THE RESPONSE DATE IS EXTENDED TO 3:00PM JUNE 16, 2000. ALL OTHER PORTIONS OF THIS COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION REMAIN UNCHANGED FROM THE ORIGINAL ANNOUNCEMENT MADE APRIL 18, 2000. The corrected text for CLIN 0001 is as follows: CLIN 0001 Pneumatic Vibration Isolation System; Qty: two (2) each; specifications shall be as follows: includes active leveling with non-contacting sensors, inertial measurement based control system to reduce the transmission at the isolator' vertical resonance by at least 20dB, 25" operating height, gross capacity 4000 lbs at 80 psi, natural frequencies of no greater than 0.5Hz in vertical and horizontal direction, isolation efficiency not less than 90% @5Hz and 95% @ 10Hz, automatic leveling accuracy to within +/- 10 microns in height. The corrected text for CLIN 0003 is as follows: Factory assistance for setup and testing shall be provided. Required delivery time is 8 weeks from date of award.
