Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), in support of Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), requests input into the availability and capability of Custom-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) licensed product(s) which provide an "action tracking system" functionality meeting the overall requirements of the attached Word 6.0 document, "Requirements Specification" (i.e., specification). CSC requests technical feedback from industry by 15 June 2000 in how a vendor's product(s) meets or exceeds (or fails to meet) the overall areas outlined in the attached specification. It is requested that vendors provide a technical response that follows the outline of the attached specification along with vendor brochures and general pricing information (i.e., server licenses, seat licenses, site licenses, etc.). Information may be mailed to: CSC PrISMS, Building 4471, MSFC, AL 35812, Attn: Tom Antoniel; or e-mail w/attachments to tom.antoniel@msfc.nasa.gov. For subscribers to the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) who wish to obtain the relevant document covering the specification, access said information at http://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=62 . Information gathered in response to this RFI will be used to develop a formal solicitation technical specification. This RFI is not to be construed as a commitment by CSC nor will CSC pay for the information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the review. Any questions regarding this announcement should be made to the identified point of contact. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in the CBD and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service.
