The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) requires operator and computer program quality assurance support of real time, on-line, multi-processing simulation and tactical computer equipment that is used to support computer program generation, testing and certification of various weapon system computer program corrections and enhancements. Test support to external sites via landlines and fiber optic connections, as well as internal facility testing is required. The majority of the testing will take place at the Aegis Computer Center (ACC) at NSWCDD, Dahlgren, VA with limited support at the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC), Wallops Island, VA. Approximately 27 manyears of technical support is estimated for year one increasing to 39 manyears during the fifth year of a five-year contract. The proposed contract is 100 percent set aside for companies in the 8(a) program. The contractor is required to have a facility located within 30-minute travel time from Dahlgren, VA.
