Clemons, Contracting Officer (562) 961-8112 DESCRIPTION: Q Medical Services -- The VA San Diego Healthcare System is seeking a qualified contractor to provide and operate a medical clinic, reimbursed at a capitated rate. The clinic will provide primary medical health care to approximately 1,500 veteran patients. The clinic will be located within the North East San Diego Metro Area. The Clinic will be located East of and with-in one mile of I-15, and on a municipal bus route. The ideal location will be centrally located for easy access by veterans living in Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, Poway and other communities along the I-15 corridor. The Government desires such services for a period of one (1) year (Base period), with four (4) 1-year Option Periods, with such option rights exclusive to the Government. The VA San Diego Healthcare System desires the commencement of medical care to veterans at the contracted location during August 2000. Primary medical health care will consist of Office/Outpatient Visits, Pathology & Lab Services, Diagnostic Radiology, Pharmaceuticals, etc. Eligibility of veterans for such medical care shall be determined by the VA San Diego Healthcare System. This solicitation shall be open to both large and small businesses to express interest in the provision of the requested care. The applicable SIC Code is 8011. Issue of RFP600-132-00 shall be O/A June 7, 2000 with proposal due O/A July 7, 2000.
