NASA GSFC/WFF plans to issue a Request for Offers for Rehabilitation of Radar Facility, Building U-70, at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia 23337. The scope of work for this project shall include, but is not limited to: The replacement of the roofing system, windows, doors, interior finishes -- painting, ceiling, flooring; modifications to exhaust and HVAC elements; replacement of lighting; installation of new concrete entrance; and installation of exterior insulation finish system. The work shall be complete. It includes furnishing, as applicable, or may be required, all contractor's plant, equipment, safety devices, labor, tools, materials, supplies, and services, and performing all operations necessary for or incidental to a complete project in conformity with the drawings and as set forth in the various sections of the specifications. This procurement is being conducted under NASA MidRange Procurement Procedures. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 160 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1542. The corresponding size standard is $17,000,000.00. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about June 8, 2000 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about July 11, 2000. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. Bid packages containing specifications and drawings will be available at a nonrefundable cost of $75.00. Requests are to be forwarded to: NASA/GSFC, Sandra S.
