The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for four (4) sheet-fed perfecting offset printing system; two (2) systems for the Washington, D.C. facility and two (2) for the Fort Worth, Texas facility. There is also a requirement for an optional prepress system for wet and dry offset plates. The Contractor will be required to provide all labor and materials to provide turnkey installation the sheet-fed perfecting offset printing systems. Upon delivery and installation of each system, the Contractor shall conduct acceptance testing, as well as training sessions for BEP pressmen and maintenance personnel. The presses shall be capable of printing quality currency and have the functional and performance characteristics of the specification requirements.
