The Coastal Systems Station intends to use this Moden with the Sincgar Radio Sets. The TCIM-2 Moden is necessary to utilize the Singar radio for data communications. This acquisition is unsuitable for full and open competition because Litton Data Systems is the only known vendor of the TCIM-2.
