The Division is seeking a scientist to design and execute studies to characterize small molecules using experimental and theoretical approaches. The incumbent will perform in vitro cell-based permeability measurements and associated cell culture. The position requires a PH.D. in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field or M.S. plus 2 years experience with in-vitro cell culture model. Experience with HPLC is desireable. Purpose of Work: The incumbent will characterize th biopharmaceutical properties of new molecular entities supplied by NIDA in order to improve their quality and to develop improved quality standards to be utilized by the Center Drugs, Evaluationd and Research (CDER) through the use of experimental and theoreticalapproaches.
