Bechtel National, Inc. is the Systems Contractor for the Aberdeen Chemical Agent Disposal Facility Project located at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Edgewood, MD. We are seeking sources to provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, technical and professional services, and transportation to design, procure/fabricate, erect/install, and test the 34.5kV Main Substation Installations. The 34.5kV work consists of three (3) primary work tasks: 1) the addition of a 34.5kV Circuit Breaker to an existing substation; 2) the installation of a 34.5kV Main Substation; and 3) approximately 4,000 circuit feet of 34.5kV overhead construction including the installation of new 55' poles. Associated work includes relay and SCADA modifications; substation equipment foundations and structural steel construction; misc. underground ductbanks, lighting, lightening protection, revenue monitoring equipment, fencing, and paving; and 4160V line relocation and demolition of approximately 44 poles. Construction is scheduled to begin on 29NOV00 with an anticipated award date of 17AUG00.
