Kachess Dam is located approximately 14 miles northwest of Cle Elum, Washington in Kittittas County. Features of the work include: sawcutting, demolishing, and removing existing reinforced concrete spillway walls; furnishing and installing chain link fencing on top of the new spillway walls; earthwork for and installation of two new PVC drainage pipelines adjacent to the spillway walls, one perforated and one solid; earthwork for and construction of new grouted riprap gutters along the outside of each spillway wall; earthwork for and construction of new reinforced concrete structures, including spillway walls and weir boxes, including appurtenant metalwork; making concrete repairs to the existing reinforced concrete floor slab and walls; and, fabricating and installing miscellaneous metalwork, including a weir plate and a drainage pipeline clean-out assembly. A Request for Proposals (RFP)will be issued on a CD-ROM in late June. All dates are subject to change. The RFP will request offerors to submit written technical proposals detailing: the offeror's proposed methods and equipment; past performance information demonstrating experience with this type of requirement; proposed CPM schedule and other information. Offers will be evaluated on the quality of the proposed work plan and CPM schedule, successful past performance of similar work, the qualifications and experience of proposed key personnel, as well as price and other price-related factors. The solicitation will contain information regarding site visit opportunities. Estimated range for this acquisition: $250,000 to $500,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which we will consider. A presolicitation notice (PSN) will be available within a week of the publication of this notice.
