fixed-price contract for CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY, applicable to Aircraft
Launcher Interface Computer (ALIC). Line item 0001 is for 8 each and
line item 0002 is for 15 each, NSN: 5998-01-281-4910AO, P/N: 2959070-1.
Delivery 31 July 2000. There is one (1) option year for a quantity
range of 1-2. Material: Multi-layered printed circuit board. Function:
System input/output circuit card that provides interfacing and
buffering functions. Dimensions: 10" L x 5" H x _" thick. The
approximate issue date will be 2 May 00 with the approximate response

pursuant to Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 3672 (500
employees). SOLE SOURCE to: Raytheon, CAGE: 96214. Authority: 10 U.S.C.
2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are
available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s)
and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency
requirements. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO
identified above for additional information and/or to communicate
concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not
satisfied by the contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed
to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established
channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority
of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate
serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations
to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman
will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
