The government intends to acquire Inlet Barrier Filter (IBF) Systems under commercial item procedures on a best value basis. The IBFS are intended for installation on the A/MH-6J/M. The A/MH-6J/M is a militarized U. S. Army version of the Boeing commercial Model 500 series helicopter and is powered by a Rolls Royce Allison (RRA) 250-C30(H) (400-650 shp) gas turbine engine. The A/MH-6M Mission Enhanced Little Bird (MELB) aircraft is powered by the RRA 250-C30R/3M (650 shp Hot Day) engine. The government intends to award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract based on firm fixed prices for a minimum quantity of one (1) and a maximum quantity of 60 each. This item will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12 on a competitive basis. This is a DO-A1 rated order. The solicitation number is USZA95-00-Q-0028.
