E-MAIL: Click here to contact either contract specialist via, wanda.okemura@pearl.fisc.navy.mil, charlene_v_matheson@pearl.fisc.navy.mil. 1) The Fleet Industrial Supply Center is initiating a DRAFT solicitation on or about 19 May 2000 to provide and manage six (6) Pre-Expended Bin locations at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. 2) The DRAFT posting will consist of the draft solicitation, performance work statement and draft versions of the appendixes. 3) Industry comment is invited on all areas from interested parties. 4) The Navy's primary objective is to transfer inventory/bin management of pre-expended stock to the contractor. The operation consists providing all management, labor, supervision and transportation to set up and manage all 6 PEB sites on Pearl Harbor in addition to supplying approximately 1,500 low dollar, high volume items from approximately 95 federal stock classes. 5) This is a commercial requirement and will be solicited for a basic period with four option years. Hard copies will not be sent out. 7) A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for 14 June 2000 at the Fleet Industrial Supply Center, Regional Contracting Department, in Bldg 475, 2nd Floor MIC Room, at 0900 hours. Your attendance at the pre-proposal conference is encouraged. Questions pertaining to the draft solicitation that offerors wish the Government to address during the pre-proposal conference shall be submitted in writing to the Fleet Industrial Supply Center, Regional Contracting Department Attn: Wanda Okemura by 2:00 p.m. HST on 09 Jun 2000.
