A priced option for a field test of the framework will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Several independent initiatives being finalized or under concurrent development by the DOD and Johns Hopkins University has created a synergistic opportunity for strengthening the role of public health at hazardous waste sites. This project directly builds upon the Air Force Initiative for Chemical and Site Specific Risk Assessment, an Air Force project with the unifying concept of ensuring installation cleanup decisions are based on sound science.
