ANNOUNCEMENT THAT APPEARED ON MAY 3, 2000. The purpose of this
announcement is to make SEVEN changes/additions to the original
announcement. CHANGE (1): This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small
business. A large business offer may be considered in the event that
no small business participates in this acquisition. In the event an
offer is received from a small business and a large business, the
government will evaluate the small business offer and will reject the
large business offer. CHANGE (2): The revised due date is June 19,
2000, 5pm EST. CHANGE (3): Delete: "METHOD: Retain a consultant with
expertise in both EMS/ISO 14000 and the offshore oil and gas industry
to develop a report. Identify appropriate environmental personnel in
headquarters and the regions to learn the ISO system and to participate
in ISO and EMS activities affecting Offshore". CHANGE (4): Deliverables
are as follows: (a) After award, we will have an initial meeting in
Herndon, Virginia, OR by teleconference (firms within a one hundred
mile radius of Herndon, Virginia, should include in their offer the
price for attending in person, all others should price a conference
call). (b) A draft report is due 150 calendar days after award. (c) A
draft final report meeting is due 210 calendar days after award by
teleconference or in Herndon, Virginia, (firms within the 100-mile
radius). (d) The Final Report is due 240 calendar days after award. (e)
A summary paper suitable for conference presentation is due 270
calendar days after award. The conference site where the paper will be
presented is unknown at this time but will be in the continental
United States. Please assume furthest distance for your travel.
Contractor will be paid actual cost for travel. CHANGE (5): KEY
PERSONNEL provide a list of your key personnel who will work on this
project. CHANGE (6): Delete: "FY 2001 International Standards
Conference", name, place and time unknown at this time. CHANGE (7):
TECHNICAL APPROACH not to exceed 20 pages shall mean 20 single-sided
