The Potomac Service Delivery Team is developing specifications for and
seeking interested small business (SB), small disadvantaged
business(SDB), and/or 8(a) firms to provide Commercial Facilities
Management Services at the Veterans Administration Building, 810
Vermont Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. The Contractor shall be responsible
for management, operation, maintenance, repair, custodial, pest
control, trash debris removal/recylcing and support operations of the
building its associated grounds and all budilding support systems, in
an efficient, economical and reliable manner. The Contractor shall
provide management, administrative, and technical functions, including
engineering services for reimbursable building alterations; develop
management operational plans to cover all functions, including
equipment and building inspection tours and a building operation plan.
The Contractor shall provide the necessary staff and training to
perform management and operational functions, including the planning,
scheduling and allocation of resources to sustain the building
functions (i.e. operation and maintnenance of mechanical/electrical
equipment, uninterrupted power supply system, energy management
system). The VA Building is 528,133 square feet, and your previous
experience should be in a facility of similar size and complexity.

February 1, 2001 and continue for a minimum of 5 years. This
