The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award one contract for x-ray reading services. All duties will be performed for the Federal Correctional Institution, 8730 Scroggs Road, Elkton, Ohio. The selected contractor will be responsible for the following services: the interpretation/reading of all submitted x-rays of the inmate population, providing the Health Services Department at FCI, Elkton with timely results as noted in the Statement of Work and within the stated time period, providing all related supplies, inclusive of: shipping boxes, tapes, labels and stickers/stamps. The term of the contract will be from date of award through 12 months and will also include -- four -- (one-year) option periods. The estimated number of readings required per month is 275. The contractor must be licensed and certified to provide x-ray reading services as stated in this required capacity. The services will be performed outside of the secure perimeter of the institution at the location of the contractor.
