AFCEA NEW HORIZONS AT ESC SYMPOSIUM: "TIME CRITICAL COMMAND AND CONTROL FOR THE AIR EXPEDITIONARY FORCE" The Lexington-Concord Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) in participation with the USAF Electronic Systems Center (ESC) is pleased to announce a two-day symposium entitled "New Horizons at ESC" on 26-27 June 2000 at the Renaissance Bedford Hotel, Burlington, MA. The Electronic Systems Center at Hanscom AFB, MA is one of Air Force Materiel Command's major acquisition centers. ESC specializes in acquisition of electronic Command & Control (C2) systems including communications, reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence systems, and information processing. The symposium theme is "Time Critical Command and Control for the Air Expeditionary Force." Planned topics are: (1) Kosovo Lessons Learned; (2) Integrating Emerging C2 Technologies; (3) Revolutionizing Government-Industry Relations; and (4) ESC Business Opportunities and Focus Areas. The registration fee of $400 for AFCEA members and $425 for non-members for the symposium will be used to defray expenses incidental to the conduct of the symposium. This includes printing and mailing costs, administrative expenses, refreshments, luncheons, reception and a contribution to the Chapter's General Fund. There are also government rates of $175 for members and $200 for non-members. All lodging and transportation arrangements are the responsibility of attendees.
