The Nashville District is soliciting bids to furnish and deliver hydraulic equipment in accordance with plans and specifications for Cheatham lock. Quotes will include all material and labor to provide, test, and deliver: Five (5) each hydraulic power unit assemblies: 60 HP, 35 GPM variable delivery pumps, 4-way proportional valves, pressure valves and check valves, system filters and 80 gallon reservoirs. Five (5) Miter gate cylinders: mill type, 10-inch bore, 194 inch stroke, with 6 inch rods. Five (5) Culvert valve cylinders: mill type, 10-inch bore, 100-inch stroke, with 5 inch rods. Necessary electrical equipment and spare parts. These units shall consist of standard, cataloged components of a manufacturer regularly engaged in the production of such equipment. All work will be done in according with supplied technical specifications and drawings. The units will replace existing hydraulic power units, cylinders and portable power unit for Cheatham Lock located in Ashland City, Tennessee. Solicitation will be available on or about 07 June 2000.
