This is a market survey to locate additional sources for the following spare part for the OE-361/G, NSN 1560-01-182-2029, A3020100-001, Access Cover, for a potential quantity of 600 each. Current source for this item is Harris Corp. Technical data for the manufacture of this item is available from the Army. However, the Government does not have test procedure/criteria nor the equipments to properly test the Access Cover as a stand alone item. Unique tooling is required to produce the Access Cover. This tooling is not owned by the Government and is not available from the Government. The manufacturer will be responsible for obtaining/producing the required tooling necessary to manufacture the Access Cover. The critical skills and experience required to produce and test the Access Cover are highly specialized. The Access Cover requires test and/or inspection facilities to determine and maintain precision quality for its function. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item must so indicate by sending e-mailto lik@mail1.monmouth.army.mil. The response MUST include documentation such as test results, copy of the purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the current source, or a statement from the current source demonstrating that the supplier can in fact supply the item that will be physically and functionally interchangeable at the repair part level with the items that the source supplies for this NSN.
