This equipment will be purchased by the LAR Directorate for the use into building 265 and will be installed by the contractor. Hill AFB desires a turnkey project and is willing to consider new or rebuilt equipment. The minimum requirements for this Fluid Cell press are as follows: MACHINE, CAPACITIES, AND RATES FORMING CAPACITY OF PRESS 8,000 PSI VARIABLE FORMING PRESSURES 300 psi min, + or -- 150 psi NUMBER OF TRAYS 1 or 2 TRAY SIZE 38 inch x 93 inch (Minimum usable work areas at bottom or tray) DEPTH OF TRAY 9.3 inch min (Minimum usable work height in tray) CYCLE TIME 180 seconds A depth of tray of 12" or more could provide additional capability and would considered a valuable enhancement. Other available options or upgrades could also be considered as an enhancement. Additional areas of concern for new and rebuild equipment: Equipment Reliability and Maintainability. Ease of repair and or maintenance. Maintenance and support availability. Quality of supporting operation and maintenance documents. Total life cycle costs, Installation schedule and availability. Footprint of equipment and required utilities. For rebuild equipment please provide your criteria for to like new condition any warranty/support policy for rebuilt equipment.
