The SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston intends to increase the contract value from $855,849.00 to $1,204,874.00 of Research and Development (R&D) sole-source contract N65236-99-C-5832 to the University of Texas SW Medical Center, Dallas, TX, in support of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) BWD program. University of Texas SW Medical Center will be harnessing TLR4, the sole endotoxin "switch" protein, for instantaneous antimicrobial chemotherapy in vivo.
