The closing date for the solicitation is June 19, 2000. An unofficial copy of the solicitation will be available, on or about May 16, 2000, on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District Web site at http://www.nab.usace.army.mil. The official copy of the solicitation will be provided via CD-ROM to all vendors listed on our bidders mailing list. The CD's will be mailed on or about May 19, 2000. A Pre-proposal conference will be held on June 7, 2000, at SBCCOM Auditorium, Building No. E4810, located at the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Edgewood, MD., 21010-5401 from 9:00 AM until approximately 12:00 PM. Additional details on the conference are provided in the solicitation package. The subcontracting goals for this contract are that a minimum of 70% of the planned subcontracting dollars to be placed with small business concerns, a minimum of 15% of the planned subcontracting dollars to be placed with small dis-advantaged business concerns, to include HBCU/MI's, a minimum of 8% of the planned subcontracting dollars to be placed with women owned business concerns and 2% of the planned subcontracting dollars to be placed with HUBZone small business concerns.
