The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Knox, KY is modifying Request for Proposal (RFP) DABT23-00-R-1021. This requirement has been modified to include NAVY Recruiters. The period of performance has been modified to read 1 Jul 00 through 30 June 01. The following added to and made a part of the STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) : C.1.1 The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to provide unlimited access by Navy Recruiting Command recruiters and family members to a 24 hour toll-free Nationwide Employee Assistance Program for the period of 1 July 2000 through 30 June 2001. The Navy Recruiting Command deploys about 6000 recruiters in about 1400 recruiting stations in 31 recruiting districts (end of paragraph C.1.1). The Army and Navy will have separate Contract Line Item Numbers(CLINS)for base year plus four(4) option year periods for a total of ten (10)CLINS. CLIN 0001 -- Monthly Fee for 7037 Army Recruiters and their families to have unlimited access to a 24-hour, Toll-free Nationwide Employee Assistance Program during the period of 1 July 2000 through 30 June 2001; CLIN 1001 -- 1st year option period of 1 July 2001 through 30 June 2002; CLIN 2001 -- 2nd year option period of 1 July 2002 through 30 June 2003; CLIN 3001 -- 3rd year option period of 1 July 2003 though 30 June 2004; CLIN 4001 -- 4th year option period of 1 July 2004 through 30 June 2005. CLIN 0002 -- Monthly Fee for 6000 Navy Recruiters and their families to have unlimited access to a 24-hour, Toll-free Nationwide Employee Assistance Program; CLIN 1002 -- 1st year option period of 1 July 2001 through 30 June 2002; CLIN 2001 -- 2nd year option period of 1 July 2002 through 30 June 2003; CLIN 3002 -- 3rd year option period of 1 July 2003 though 30 June 2004; CLIN 4002 -- 4th year option period of 1 July 2004 through 30 June 2005. The total number of recruiters listed for CLINS 0001 through 4002 are annual estimates based on current mission requirements.
