OMNIBUYER SYSTEM This is to inform suppliers and potential suppliers that Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) is conducting a beta test initiative with the OmniBuyer system. MAMC's goal is to provide hospital activities with an on-line single screen portal capability for ordering the majority of their medical supplies. The ability to conduct purchasing through a single portal will reduce transaction times significantly and decrease overall supply chain costs. Anticipated advantages for suppliers include less expensive transaction cost per purchase order, more accurate pricing information and more accurate and timely resources.
