Energy Service Providers (ESP)are invited to submit their qualifications to provide a direct supply of electricity to the Local Distribution Company (LDC) via firm transmission to United States Postal Service facilities located in the States of New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. 2. The scope of this qualification includes the following: a. Servicing a total of 1,156 Postal Service facilities; b. Local Distribution Companies include; New York State Electric Niagara Mohawk Rochester Gas & Electric Connectciut Light & Power Western Massachusetts Electric Company c. Estimated hourly aggregated energy usage:218,571,428.571 killowatt hours 3. ESP are invited to submit their qualifications to service one and/or multiple Local Distribution Companies (LDC). Servicing all designated LDC's is not a requirement of this RFQ. 4. This RFQ is being issued as step 1 of a two step procurement process. a. Step 1 includes the receipt of Qualifications Statements to identify potential licensed Energy Service Providers for prequalification as set forth in this RFQ. b. Step 2 includes the solicitation of price proposals from those ESP successfully pre-qualified under step 1. 5. To participate in this process Energy Service Providers (ESP)must be a a. Listed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)in the States of NY, CT and MA, b. Qualified by the LDC; c. Licenced by the appropriate Public Service Commission or Department of Public Utility Control DPUC)in the States of NY, CT and MA as a Power Marketer, Supplier or Energy Service Provider.
