(Montgomery County) Tennessee. Project consists of the construction
1357 meter long by 30 meter wide, Instrument Flight Rules runway, new
1240 meter long by 15 meter wide parallel taxiway, three new connecting
taxiways, a VFR helipad and expansion to a portion of the existing
apron. Some tree clearing, pavement demolition is included in the
project. This project will be solicited as a Request for Proposal and
offers will be evaluated on the following basis:
administration/management information, past performance information,
proposed schedule, subcontracting plan, price and performance
capabilities. Estimated value is $10,000,000 -- $25,000,000.
Solicitation to be issued on or about 31 MAY 2000. Proposals will be
due on or about 30 JUN 2000, 4:30 p.m. local time. SIC code is 1542.
There will be no charge for this solicitation. Plans and specifications
are available on CD ROM, or they may be downloaded from the internet.
