The acquisition is unrestricted, open to both small and large business concerns. If a subcontracting plan is required, the following minimum goals are applicable: Small Business Subcontracting 61.4%; Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting 9.1%; Women-owned Small Business subcontracting 5%. The magnitude of construction is between $5M and $10M. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. The project consists of the design and construction of 76 new junior NCO family housing units at Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB), Otero County, New Mexico. The project site is approximately five acres. Demolition of existing multi-plex and single-family housing on and near the project site is required. All new units will be a site-adapt of existing 3-bedroom duplex units at HAFB. Th project also includes asbestos abatement, grading, paving, support utilities, tot lots, and landscaping. The support utilities include water, electricity, gas, sanitary sewer, and telephone. Potential options to this contract may include upgrades to the housing units and the utility distribution system.
