Postal Service is soliciting proposals to construct a new +/- 8,000 sf carrier annex on Lot 29A on Adams Rd. in Greenfield, MA. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, landscaping; concrete foundations and slab-on-grade; prefabricated metal building including steel frames, metal roofing and metal siding; masonry, metal stud partitions insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings; acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring; custom cabinets and fixtures; plumbing; electrical; HVAC; signage; loading dock equipment; fire alarm and security systems, and all associated work. The estimated cost of the work is between $600,000.00 and $1,200,000.00, with completion within two hundred ten (210) calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on June 16, 2000. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made.
