MEDCOM Contracting Center intends to award a firm fixed price contract for installation of street lights on Nursery Road, Fort Sam Houston, TX, using simplified acquisition procedures. The contractor shall provide all material, labor, supplies, equipment, transportation and supervision to install lighting along Nursery Road. The work includes but is not limited to concrete poles, pole mounted transformers, fused cutouts, surge arrestors, secondary lighting circuits, steel support arms, high pressure sodium light fixtures, down guys and associated hardware. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) are mandatory for award and payment. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 29, 2000; a site visit is schedule for 0900 hrs (9:00 AM) June 6, 2000. DADA10-00-T-0150 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is set aside for small business. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1731 and related small business size standard is 7 million. The estimated cost of the project is under $100,000.00. Funds are not currently available for this project but is expected to be available on or about June 1, 2000.
