Scope of work includes but is not limited to the following items of work: Perform alterations on the fourth floor in a historic courthouse to provide renovated space for use as judge_s chambers. Work includes demolition involving walls, finishes, ceilings, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical. New work includes carpeting, walls and partitions, ceilings, doors and frames, lighting, HVAC, exhaust, lighting, power, communications, plumbing and millwork. Floor penetrations involved are adjacent to noise-sensitive areas, and noisy work will require after-hours work. Lead based paint might be present, and small amounts of asbestos might be present, particularly in the existing vinyl asbestos floor tile. The project is in 1-phase. This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1542 with a size standard of $17.0 million. The estimated cost range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. GSA is issuing this solicitation electronically only.
