This notice is a supplement to the previous notice for RFP-797-NC-00-0067 posted in CBDNet on May 15th and printed May 17th. The solicitation includes requirements for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs and Dept. of Defense. The following pharmaceutical items will be included on the solicitation with no competition restrictions (both large and small busineses may submit offers): Diltiazem HCL tablets in 30,60,90 and 120 mg strengths; and Sucralfate 1 GM tablets. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES: Etodolac capsules or tablets in 200, 300 and 400 mg strengths; Hydroxyurea 500 mg capsules; and Pentoxifylline 400 mg tablets, SA. Estimated quantites for both VA and DoD will be stated in the solicitation. Other Government Agencies such as Indian Health Service and Bureau of Prisons may be added to the solicitation; if so, the solicitation will so state and provide their estimated usages as well. The contract period will be for one base year plus 4 one-year options. Distribution will be through the VA and DoD Prime Vendors. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about the anticipated issue date of 6/15/00 at the VA Office of Acquisition and Materiel Management's web site at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm.
