Sources sought/Request for information. The Aerospace fuels = Directorate is searching for potential sources that can furnish gaseous = helium in cylinder of 213 cf. Requirements is for multiple contracts = in various regions of continental US for requirements in the = continental US and overseas=20 including but not limited to Europe and the Pacific Rim. The grades of = helium are Grade E5 (99.9995%) NSN 6830-00-001-7989; E7 (99.9997%) NSN = 6830-01-103-8393, COMMERCIAL Grade M (Modified 99.995%) NSN = 6830-01-465-5937, and MIL-PRF Grade A (99.995%) NSN 9135-00-926-8888. = The MIL Grades are and are not subject to BLM helium sources depending = on customer total volume usage. Sources sought should be located in = the proximity close to the AF customers in order to be able to provide = FOB Origin and FOB Destination deliveries effectively. Based on input = from potential sources and the economies of multiple contracts, a = solicitation will be developed in the near future for multiple regions. = Information requested from potential sources are, but not limited to = output capacities and location of fill points in relation to customer = (areas), minimum delivery quantities for FOB Destination, and = distances/area from fill points where FOB Destination is provided. The = Government can provide GFM (Government Furnished Property) in the form = of serviceable helium cylinders for the various fill points in order to = maintain an adequate rotatable supply of cylinders.
