76 -- DODEA COMPETENCY BASED COUNSELING PROGRAM MATERIALS SOL MDA414-00-R-0007 DUE 062600 POC Alexander Stuart, Contract Specialist,804-327-0521 Provide instructional materials that assist the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) in fully implementing the DoDEA Competency Based Counseling Program. The competencies were developed by DoDEA based on the National Standards for School Counseling Programs endorsed by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA). The competencies for DoDEA are organized under the three broad areas of Academic, Career, and Personal/Social Development. They are divided into four grade bands of PreK-3, 4-6, 7-8, and 9-12. A maximum of twelve awards may be made as a result of this solicitation for the four grade bands under the three broad areas of Academic, Career, and Personal/Social Development. However, the total number of contract awards will depend upon the number of programs selected for award from any given publisher. It anticipated Solicitation MDA414-00-R-0007 will be issued on 05/26/00 with a closing date of 06/26/00. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis utilizing simplifiedacquisition procedures under the authority at FAR 13.500. Publishers will be required to submit program materials for the technical evaluation and a price proposal. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will contain specific instructions for submission of review materials and price proposals.
