The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, has a requirement for maintenance support services for the ACSIS Rehost and Linebacker Systems (Model/Part No. CT-LNBKR-01, CT-REHST-01 CT-LNBKR-02, CT-REHST-02) for the ACC and ATRC located at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA. Maintenance support will include preventive, remedial, and per call maintenance on the Alpha 8400 based ACSIS Linebacker and Rehost systems. The contract will be for a base period from date of award to 30 September 2000 and six one year options. The contract period will cover the estimated life cycle of the equipment. This will be a sole source award to Compaq Computer Corporation. As the designer and integrator of the Linebacker and Rehost systems, Compaq is the only contractor that has knowledge of the specialized diagnostics and system design to verify proper operation of the NTDS components with the 8400 based system. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on 31 May 2000. Award is anticipated to be made by 15 July 2000. Interested parties other than Compaq Computer Corporation must be able to demonstrate, in writing, their capability to provide the requested services.
