The government intends to award, on a Sole Source basis, an order for the following item: (Manufacturer: Research Analysis Corporation), TACTRAC Health Model System Software Maintenance Renewal, quantity 1 year. This is a supportability management tool. The software allows the user to rapidly identify parts that are obsolete or will soon be obsolete so that proactive decisions can be made to reduce or eliminate the impact of obsolete parts to the systems. The TACTRAC database gives real-time parts information not only for obsolete parts but also for potential alternatives as well with operational characteristics provided for comparison.
