The Defense Supply Service-Washington on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Information Technology Directorate (OSD/ITD), Washington DC 20301, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with FORE Systems, 1000 Fore Drive, Warrendale, PA 15086 to acquire one year maintenance for currently installed FORE equipmemt. The contractor will provide technical support which includes software upgrades and enhancements for network equipment maintained and supported by OSD/ITD. The FORE equipment is relied upon heavily to provide uninterruped network communications for the highly important daily missions of key OSD principals and staff.
