The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for ENVI GIS/Imaging software with maintenance and technical support. Research Systems Inc. is either the exclusive owner of U.S. copyrights and other intellectual property rights, or the licensee and authorized sublicensor of rights, that together make up all intellectual property rights pertaining to that certain collection of modular, reusable computer software programs used for, among other things, image analysis and exploitation in both military and civilian applications and referred to by the name AENVI@, which name is also a registered trademark of Research Systems, Inc. Only ENVI software has the capability to interface with the National Technical Means (NTM) as required by the National Civil Applications Program (NCAP) and users of its systems.
