The period of performance is scheduled to begin the end of August or the beginning of September 2000, and will be accomplished in four (4) weekend move phases. The contractor will provide manpower, transportation and equipment to move boxed and crated contents, furniture, computers and shelving units. The contractor will relocate excess property from 1111 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC to the GSA Franconia Warehouse in Springfield, Virginia. The pre-bid conference, property inspection and walk-through will be conducted on Thursday, June 15, 2000, at 10:00 a.m., in the lobby entrance of the IRS Building on the Constitution Avenue, NW side. Prospective bidders interested in attending the walk-through must submit to this office the company's name and the name of the representatives attending (only 2 per firm), by close of business Thursday, June 8, 2000.
